Data Deletion

Last updated July 22, 2026

Wevilly is in pre-alpha.

This is early, experimental software. Features may change or break, the service may be unavailable at times, and your data may be reset or deleted at any time without notice as we build. No payments are processed on Wevilly during the pre-alpha. Use it at your own risk, and please send feedback through the in-app widget.

This page explains what Wevilly stores when you connect a social account (Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube) and how to have that data deleted.

What we store from a connected account

When you connect a social account, we store only what’s needed to show your verified follower count:

  • your username / handle on that platform,
  • your public follower count, and
  • an access token (stored encrypted) so we can refresh that count.

We never post on your behalf, and we do not read your posts, messages, or contacts.

How to have your data deleted

You can remove this data in any of these ways:

  • Email us. Send a message to support@wevilly.com from the email address on your Wevilly account, with “Data deletion” in the subject. We will delete the data associated with your connected accounts within 30 days and confirm by email.
  • Delete your Wevilly account. In Settings, deleting your account removes your profile and all associated data, including anything from your connected social accounts.
  • Disconnect the account. In Settings → Connected Accounts, choose Disconnect next to the account — this immediately stops Wevilly from accessing or updating it. To also erase the stored data, use one of the two options above.
